Q1 - I am a beginner. How do I get started?
A. You can take a Ballroom and Latin American Dance course for complete beginners and steadily cover the basics, in a group class or you can learn with us on a 1-1 basis.
B. You can join us at our Studio at any time throughout the year as all classes are 1-1 or duos, tailor made to suit how you need to progress.
C. You can join one of our Pilates mat work Induction courses that run each term, to prepare you to join in a general class , or you can book some 1-1s.
Q2. Do I need a partner?
A. Yes. The styles of dance we teach are all partner dances. So if possible you do need to come along with a partner.
B. No, most sessions are 1-1. However, if you want to take a duo session at the Studio you need to provide your own training partner.
C. No all group classes are for individuals.
Q3. What will I need to bring?
A. Nothing, we provide all you need (except for a partner to dance with).
B. The Studio is fully equipped so you do not need to bring anything.
C. We no longer provide any shared equipment since the COVID19 pandemic so you will need to bring an exercise mat, a small towel and a stretch band.
Q4. I am not a beginner , how can I join?
A. If you have done some dancing before you can join an existing class. Our improver and intermediate classes have been running for a long time so please contact us first so we can decide which class might suit you best.
B. You can start at the Studio at any time whether or not you have previous experience.
C. Our Pilates mat classes are not open classes, so you if you are hoping to join a regular class, contact us first to check for availability.
